Introduction<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am pleased to announce that we have this year received 22 signups<\/strong> for the QT25. This is the highest number in many years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the tour has now been fully booked and the deadline (1 April 2025) for signing up has expired the squad is now final and we cannot include more players in this year\u2019s QT25.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please see the final list of players below and related information in the below matrix:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Team selection<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As we have a large group it is mathematically not possible that all players can play all the three 45-over games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have therefore liaised with team captain Michael Jeppesen (normally just called \u201cJeppe\u201d) and the following team selection criteria will apply for this year\u2019s QT, with the obvious caveat that potential injuries may result in changes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. The 6 players highlighted in green colour in the matrix is the core group of the 45-over tournament and they will play all three 45-over games. They will, however, not play in the 20-over tournament.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. The 10 players highlighted in turquoise colour in the matrix will play 1-2 of the 45-over games and at least 2 of the three 20-over games.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. The 6 players highlighted in pink colour in the matrix will play all three 20-over games. It is, however noted that both of Jan Rasmussen and Steen \u00d8stergaard expect that they will only be able to play one game.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    As it appears all players will be guaranteed at least three games and in most cases the players highlighted in turquoise will play more than three games.The final selection for the games will take place in England and be depending on current form and potential injuries and the applicable age-requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Eric Folker will be the captain of the 20-over team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    To avoid confusion, I am pleased to announce that our dear friends Jan and Birgitte \u00d8stergaard are also participating, but unfortunately Jan cannot play this year. Therefore, he is not listed in the player matrix. In addition, we will also be honoured by the participation of Amir\u2019s wife and Ian\u2019s wife Eva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Payment of Membership of DANSK XL and match fee<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    As you can see from the matrix most players have paid the membership fee and a few have also paid the match fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I kindly request that everyone who has not yet paid, now pays both membership and match fee no later than Friday 14 April 2025 to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Welcoming reception<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Kindly inform me via e-mail no later than Monday 14 April 2025 if you will participate in the TOURNAMENT RECEPTION.  This will be in a room at Ufford Park near the bar at 18:30 GMT on the evening of the Sunday 13th July.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I very much recommend that you participate in this arrangement which is always a great opportunity to meet with the players from the other teams and kick of the tournament in a good atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Hotel + transport<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Please book your hotel and travel as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Hotel: All booking information is in the attached word file. It is very much recommended that we all share double rooms as there are only 12 double rooms available per nation. So, if you have not done so already, please find a player to share a room with. The price for a double room is GBP 114 per night, including breakfast (i.e. GBP 57 per person sharing a double room). 25 % must be paid at the time of booking and the remaining 75% must be paid no later than 1 June 2025. The price for a single room is GBP 105 per night, but please don\u2019t book a single room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Travel: Stanstead Airport is the closest airport, i.e. approx. 1 hour\u2019s drive away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Bad Boys game<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I am not 100% sure that the information in the matrix on who is participating in the bad boy\u2019s game on Sunday 13 July is correct. The game is strictly speaking not a part of the QT, and it requires a special invitation from Theo Straten (Theo Straten <midstump@hotmail.com<\/a>>). So, kindly forward any questions to him regarding this game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Conclusion<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In principle this mail should cover everything. But, if need be, I will later contact you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Som det fremg\u00e5r, vil alle spillere v\u00e6re garanteret mindst tre kampe, og i de fleste tilf\u00e6lde vil de spillere, der er markeret med turkis, spille mere end tre kampe. Den endelige udv\u00e6lgelse til kampene finder sted i England og afh\u00e6nger af den aktuelle form og potentielle skader og de g\u00e6ldende alderskrav.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
